Contact & Location
Hradec Králové is the metropolis of the Region of Hradec Králové. After World War I, it retained its privileged position among Czech cities thanks to the development of industry and the thoroughly planned urban environment. With his valuable buildings, the architect Josef Gočár gave Hradec a unique appearance, which earned the city the title of “The Parlour of the Republic”. The historical centre, which was declared to be an urban conservation area, is currently a frequently visited place not only because of its historical monuments but also because of its rich cultural life.
